Goodwin Sands
We offer trips to the Goodwin Sands about 6 miles off the Ramsgate coast in Kent. They are a notorious stretch of sands just off the Kent coast in the English Channel. Sumbmerged at High tides, with areas drying at low tide enough so that you can land a boat and have a wander. When the sands appear at low tide they are about 6 miles long. There is plenty of wildlife on the sands including large seals.
Goodwin Sands Cricket anyone?
We can pick you up from Ramsgate and take you out there for a game of cricket. Kitesurfing is also great on the flat water sheltered by the sands. The first trips next year are on the spring tides on the 8th and 9th of april 2012. To view dates of the next good spring tides for a trip to the sands for kitesurfing or seal watching or do contact us on 01424 442 729
